- Why is the LED ceiling light always flashing ?
There are four possibilities for the LED ceiling light to flash continuously:
-
The LED lamp bead does not match the LED driver power supply. Normal single foot 1W lamp beads withstand current: 280-300mA, voltage: 3.0-3.4V. If the lamp bead chip is not full power, it will cause the light source to strobe. If the current is too high, the lamp will not be able to withstand it. In serious cases, the gold wire or copper wire inside the lamp bead will be burnt out, which will cause the lamp bead not to light up.
-
It may be that the drive power supply is broken. Just replace it with another good drive power supply and it will not flash.
-
A drive with an over-temperature protection function. If the heat dissipation performance of the lamp cannot meet the requirements, there will be a flashing phenomenon when the drive over-temperature protection starts working. For example, the 20W floodlight cover is used to assemble 30W lamps. This will happen if the heat dissipation work is not done well.
- If the outdoor lamps also have the phenomenon of stroboscopic on and off, it is that the lamps are flooded. The consequence is that it will not light up when it flashes. The lamp bead and the drive are broken. If the drive is waterproof, it is just a broken lamp bead and the light source can be replaced.
